Welcome to Graceball!

I’ve spent years trying to find out what I like so much about sports. Is it the athletes, the incredible talents they possess and the skills they can display for incredible entertainment? Is it the analytics, the digging deeper into the game to see beyond its surface and what makes it tick? Or it the fans, the die hards who live and breathe with the team and feel their wins and losses as if they were on the payroll?

After some time I realized it was everything. What I loved was the story of it all—the harmony of the fans, the athletes and the team, working together to create something new every time they stepped out on the field. A tale of unseen moments, fresh emotions and a whirlwind of feelings, all of which we wish we could hold on to forever.

Here at graceball I attempt to take those stories, and capture their indescribable feelings, those moments that you want to last forever, in (wo)man’s great gift— word. Or at least, that what I hope this newsletter will give you.

I hope to be posting essays once a week, with maybe some bonus content thrown in on the side. Right now the newsletter is completely free of charge.
